The Project: converting steam and thermal oil boilers to operate on biogas from the nearby Hiriya Landfill, instead of heavy fuel oil.
Stages: Registered CDM project.
The Plant: Offis Textile dyes, prints, and finishes fabrics. The woven fabrics are processed by the plant and are for the most part used for bedding.

Stages: Registered CDM project.
The Plant: Hadera Paper is Israel's leading manufacturer and marketer of paper products. The company is also a pioneer in collection and recycling of paper and cardboard, plastics and other materials.

Dead Sea Bromine Ltd. Periclase Site

Fuel switch from heavy fuel oil to natural gas.

The Project: Replacing the use of heavy fuel oil with natural gas throughout its facilities.
Stages: In the final stages of validation.
The Plant: Periclase plant produces a wide range of magnesium products for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries and more.

The Project: Converting its main steam boilers to operate on natural gas instead of heavy fuel oil.
Stages: Submitted to the UN for registration.
The Plant: The Bromine Compounds plant manufactures bromine products that are used for industrial and agricultural products.

Stages: The project is undergoing preparations for validation.
The Plant: Dead Sea Works is one of the world's leading manufacturers of chemicals and produces potash from the Dead Sea.

The Plant: Dead Sea Magnesium produces pure magnesium and alloys.

The Plant: The Rotem Amfert Negev plant manufactures and markets a wide variety of products based on phosphate rock, including phosphates and fertilizer.

Israel Airports Authority

Fuel switch from heavy fuel oil to natural gas.

The Project: Converting the energy center to operate on natural gas instead of heavy fule oil.
Stages: planning.
The Plant: A public corporation through the Airports Authority Law. Functions as the Airports and the land transit terminals Authority.

Natural gas fired power plant.

The Project: Construction of a combined cycle, cogeneration power plant fueled by natural gas.
Stages: This project is currently undergoing the validation process.
The Plant: The power plant, which is owned by Delek Infrastructures, provides electricity and hot water to the large desalination plant in Ashkelon.

Israel Chemicals Group (ICL)

Natural gas fired power plant.

The Project: ICL is planning to construct a high-efficiency, natural gas fired power plant.
Stages: Planning.
The Plant: ICL is a subsidiary of Israel Corporation, and the parent company of plants that produce potash, magnesium, chemicals and fertilizers, including Dead Sea Works, Bromine Compounds, and Dead Sea Bromine Ltd. Periclase Site.

Dalia Power Energies Ltd.

Grid-connected natural gas power plant.

The Project: A single-cycle natural gas-fired power plant.
Stages: Initial stages of validation.
The Plant: Dalia Power Energies is constructing one of the first private power plants in Israel.

Stages: planning.
The plant: A public corporation through the Airports Authority Law. Functions as the Airports Authority, The land transit terminals.

Nesher Israel Cement Enterprises

Energy efficient cement grinding technology.

The Project: installation of a new vertical cement grinder at its Ramla plant, reducing the amount of electricity consumed per ton of cement grinded.
Stages: Registered CDM project and is generating emission reductions. The project is currently undergoing the verification process, in order to receive marketable carbon credits.
The Plant: Nesher is Israel's only producer of cement, supplying Israel and the neighboring Palestinian Authority.

Dead Sea Magnesium

Cover gas switch.

The Project: Replacing the Magnesium cover gas.
Stages: In the final stages of validation, will be submitted to the UN for registration shortly.
The Plant: Located in Sdom, Dead Sea Magnesium produces pure magnesium and alloys from the magnesium-rich Dead Sea.

Ortal Diecasting

Cover gas switch.

The Project: Replacing the magnesium cover gas.
Stages: In the final stages of validation, will be submitted to the UN for registration shortly.
The Plant: Located in Kibbutz Neve- Ur, Ortal specializes in design and production of magnesium and zinc die-cast parts.

Hiriya Landfill

Landfill gas collection and methane destruction.

The Project: Construct a system to extract and destroy biogas was installed at the Hiriya Landfill.
Stages: Registered CDM project and is currently undergoing the verification process.
The Plant: Hiriya was at one time the Dan Region's primary landfill. The landfill was closed and a plan was launched to rehabilitate the site as an environmental park (Ariel Sharon Park). In addition, the site continues to serve as a point of transit where solid waste is compacted prior to being shipped to landfills in southern Israel.

Retamim Landfill

Landfill gas collection and methane destruction.

The Project: A system for the extraction and destruction of biogas was installed at the Retamim Landfill.
Stages: Registered CDM project.
The Plant: The Retamim Landfill, which belongs to the South Judea Association of Towns, has been undergoing a process of rehabilitation since its closure.

Dekel Oil

The Project: Energy production from palm oil and palm kernel oil biomass.
Stages: planning.
The Plant: DekelOil's enterprise in Ivory Coast is a vertically structured, integrated operation involving the extraction of palm oil and palm kernel and the cultivation of palm oil plantations targets the food, energy and cosmetics industries.
